Cancellations, Refunds & Credits, Rain Dates
There are two different types of cancellations:
1. Weather related cancellations.
We rarely cancel an event based on a weather forecast.
The decision to cancel an event for weather related reasons is almost always made on the morning of the show.
If a Saturday & Sunday show is scheduled and we cancel Saturday for weather related reasons, we will issue a replacement space and allow vendors who have paid in advance for Saturday only to attend for free on Sunday.
If a Saturday and Sunday show is scheduled and we cancel either day for weather related reasons, we will issue a $25 credit or $25 refund to vendors who have paid in advance for both days.
If a Saturday and Sunday show is scheduled and we cancel either day for weather related reasons, we will issue a $25 credit to vendors who have paid in advance for only one day.
2. Non-weather related cancellations.
The decision to cancel an event for non-weather related reasons is almost always made prior to the day of the show.
Since some of our shows are produced by our hosting partners we do not always have control over cancellation decisions.
If an event is cancelled by our hosting partner we always offer a full refund or full credit to those vendors who have prepaid.
On those days when the weather is uncertain it is up to individual vendors and shoppers to decide for themselves if they wish to attend.
Our full advertising program is always in effect.
If a show has not been cancelled our staff is always on site to greet vendors at the scheduled set up time.
REFUNDS AND CREDITS
If an event has been cancelled it is not necessary for a vendor to attend in order to receive a replacement space, credit or refund.
We do not issue credits or refunds for regularly scheduled shows to vendors who do not show up or call in advance to let us know they have a problem.
If a vendor has a change of circumstances we will gladly switch dates with no additional fee up
to one week prior to the event.
A rain date is a prescheduled default date that a show will be held on if the original date is cancelled for weather related reasons.
